Privacy policy
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:
- Email:
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When pages are requested, the host processes technically necessary access data in server log files, in particular IP address, date and time, the requested address and details of the browser used.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement is in place with the host.
3. The test
When you start or join a test, we store:
- the entry page you chose (for her, for him or for anyone),
- your answers to the 60 questions as values from 1 to 5,
- the time of your consent and of submitting your answers,
- a random couple code and the hash of a random access key that lets your browser find your test again.
We ask for neither your name nor your email address, and we store no IP address with your test.
Some questions concern intimacy and religious or philosophical beliefs. Such information belongs to the special categories of personal data under Art. 9 GDPR. We process your answers solely on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) and Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR), which you give before the test begins.
The purpose is to calculate the shared result from both people’s answers. The person you take the test with sees your individual answers only after you have both submitted your answers. Before that, they see none of them. We do not pass your answers on to anyone else.
A test is deleted completely no later than 12 months after it was started. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future and ask for deletion: send us an email with your couple code. We then delete the whole test, including both people’s answers.
4. Storage in your browser
So that you can continue your test, the website stores the access key of your test and your chosen language in your browser’s local storage. This is strictly necessary for the function you asked for (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete this data at any time in your browser settings. After that you can no longer reach your test from this device.
5. Anonymous usage figures
In our own database we count how often pages are opened and how many tests are started and completed. Only the kind of event, the language and the time are stored. This counting uses no cookies, contains no IP address and cannot be traced back to you or your test.
To prevent abuse we limit how often tests can be started from one connection. For this we store a non-reversible hash of the IP address for no longer than one hour (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
6. Fonts and external content
The fonts are loaded from our own server. Without your consent, no content is loaded from third-party servers. If you choose to share an invitation or a result through another app, such as WhatsApp, that service’s own rules apply.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing that is based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw a consent at any time with effect for the future.
Because we store neither a name nor an email address with a test, we can only identify a test by its couple code. Please include it when you contact us.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live.
